"Yes, I suppose so. I scared him a little thought." Eli said with a slight chuckle.

"Uh-oh. How did you manage that one?" Clare asked

"Oh, I don't know...probably after hearing how you had locked me out of my own home.." Eli laughed and kissed her forehead when they came to a stop light.

Clare laughed. "Well!" She sai and laughed.

Eli pulled up to a very fancy restaurant called "Mr. A's". He pulled parked and got out to open the door for Clare.

Clare smiled and took his hand, getting out. "thank-you."

Eli smiled and led her inside. A pianist was playing piano once they walked in. Eli walked Clare up to the front dest. "Reservation under Chambers" Eli said. The lady smiled. "Go ahead and follow me.."
"Go with her..I think I'll go to the bathroom first." Eli whispered in her ear and let her go.

Clare nodded and followed her, feeling slightly out of place.

Eli looked at the man standing at the desk. "I believe I mentioned the occasion over the phone." Eli said to him. The man smiled. "Oh yes, yor proposal...we have everthing ready." Eli nodded. "Here is the ring.."
"I will protect it with my life."

Clare sat down nervously waiting for him.

Eli walked over to her "Hello love." He said softly.

"Hello." She responded quietly.

"I know this is overwhelming." He whispered. "But just try to relax and enjoy." He smiled and glanced at the menu, personally too nervous to care about food.

Clare nodded and looked down at hers, not knwing what have the things were.

Eli smiled as their waiter came up, it was the man that had taken the ring from Eli. "Can intrest you two in something to drink? Appetizers?"
"I'll have water with lemon." Eli said and smiled at Clare

"I'll just have a regular water." Clare said, taking Eli's hand under the table.

Eli squeezed it and watched the waiter leave.

Clare smiled nervously and looked down. "I feel so weird." She breathed.

"Why? IF youw ant to leave we can..." Eli said looking at her.

"No, I mean. I've just never been somewhere so fancy. I've never been good enough to." She said and smiled.

"You are good enough..your perfect.. you deserve this. " Eli said and kissed her hand softly. The waiter brought their drinks. "Are we ready to order?" Eli nodded and glanced at Clare.
"I just have your T-Bone steak.. 8oz." Eli said and smiled at Clare.

"Just a small garden salad." Clare said and looked down.

Eli nodded. The waiter smiled. "We'll be right out with that." Eli looked over at Clare, he was planning when he should bring up what he felt about her. He knew it would be towards the end of their dinner.

Clare smiled. "You're so handsome."

Eli smiled. "You like the tux/? Its the first time I've worn it.." Eli said and took a peice of bread and butter.
