Diana slowly walked up to them, she figured she must be an old friend..or something.

(Haha yes.)

Alex, turned to Diana his smile slowly fading. "You got him put up?" He asked.

"Yes, I brushed him and everything. " Diana said seeing his emotions change.

"Ok good. Ashley this is Diana, Diana this is Ashley." Alex said.

Diana nodded. "Nice to meet you." Diana said trying to sound friendly.

"Anyway," Ashley said. "Dinner is ready."

Diana smiled. And looked at Alex.

"Come on." He said taking her hand

Diana nodded and walked next to him, looking occasionally at Ashley.

Alex led her inside over to the table. Everyones places were set.

Diana breathed. And sat down. This was beautiful, she had enver been to a dinner where family members ate together.

"Ashley, go get Caleb." Chris sai, walking in.
Alex sat down.

Diana smiled at Chris. "Good to see you again."

Chris miled and nodded. "Well thank you." He said, sitting down also.
Alex frowned.

Diana looked at Alex and bit her lip. Was it something I said? Diana thought.

"So, dad. When's the next rodeo?" Alex asked.
"Next weekend." He answered.
"Think I could take Cowboy out to practice roping?" He asked.

Diana looked at Alex a little shocked and excited. A rodeo? How..exciting. She decided to stay quiet for these few minutes...it was best to know when and when not to speak.

"Depends. You gonna miss it like you did last time?" Chris asked.
Alex laughed. "It tricked me! The cow tricked me!" He defended.

Diana smiled and looked around.

Chris nodded. "You can. You gonnna team rope with Ashley?" He asked.
"He better!" Ashley chimed in

Diana glanced at Ashley then at Alex.

Alex nodded. "I guess i can."

Dina stayed silent.

Alex glanced over at her.

Diana smiled softly and looked down.
