Alex smiled and started to drive towards the airport.

Diana closed her eyes but stayed awake.

He drove for about 10 minutes then pulled in the parking lot. "Wake up sleepy-head." He said

"I'm awake." She said sitting up and looking around.

Alex parked and grabbed their bags he'd packed the night before. "Ready for a two hour flight?" He asked

She smiled. "As long as I'm with you.. are we sitting together?" she asked grabbing her things.

"Yes we are." He said leading her inside

"Good." She said and looked around, there were a lot of people, she got overwhelmed easily; her grip on Alex tightened.

"You ok, babe?" He asked.

"Of course." She stuttered and swallowed. "Just not used to so many people, I guess."

"They're not gonna hurt you." He laughed.

"But you'll protect me either way, I hope." she smiled and loosened up at bit.

"I would." He insisted and smiled

Diana rolled her eyes. And looked around. "Where do we go?"

"This way." He said. He went through the whole process and then sat down, waiting.

She sat next to him and ran her fingers through his hair, waiting.

He wrapped an arm around her. "The other fun part. Waiting for your flight to get here."

"Hurray." Diana joked and leaned on him.

He laughed and heard their flight called. "Well that was quick..."

"Extremely." Diana nodded and got up.

Alex led her through security and headed out to the plane. He held her hand tight

Diana got on the plan, following Alex, it was a big plane. She smiled nervously to the crew onboard and sat down when they got to their seats.

Alex let her sit by the window. "You're not afraid of heights are you?"

"I don't know..I've never been up high." Diana asked and looked at him and smiled, she took his hand.

Alex smiled. "It's not that scary."
