Alex looked nervous, trying to calm Cowboy down.

Diana wished they would do good..maybe even win.

Cowboy reared up wanting to go. Alex laughed, turning him around.

Diana smiled and looked at a lady sitting next to her, she had a baby in her arms. Diana asumed her husband was in the rodeo as well. "Thats my finace." Diana said and pointed proudly. The lady smiled. "Oh, my husband is up after him I think.."

The announcer called for the start. Alex smirked, gripping the reins, holding his rope tight.

Diana watched him.

The chutes were open. As soon as the steer broke barrier, Cowboy and Juniper, Ashleys horse, bounded out after it. Alex swung the rope quickly and perfectly landed it around his neck. He started to slow Cowboy down as Ashley roped it's legs. The flag was dropped. He announcer spoke up. "3.43 seconds." He said.

Alex looked happy, he and Ashley both had big smiles.

Diana smiled excitedly. "Good!" she said to herself.

Alex smiled and walked Cowboy out of the arena, right beside Ashley.

Diana smiled and watched them.

Cowboy started to toss his head and half-rear.

Diana wondered if something was wrong.

Alex cursed under his breath. Cowboy reared higher, still on grass. His feet slid out from under him as he started to fall back.

Diana stood up nervously.

Alex fell back with him, being crushed under him.

Diana gasped and froze in shock than ran to see if he was okay.

Cowboy got up fast, and shook his body off. Alex sat up holding his side. "Thanks." He said painfully.

Diana ran to his side and knelt down. "Alex.." she trailed nervously.

"I'm fine." He said.

"[i]Alex" She repeated seeing him holding his side. "Can I at elast see it?"

Alex hesitantly lifted up his shirt, struggling to breathe. On his rib was a large, dark purple bruise.

"You need to get that to a doctor." She said frowning at it. She looked at Ashley. "Can you go call for some sort of medic?"

"Yeah sure." Ashley said and run off.
Alex looked at her, "Really?"

"Yes, really....you don't even have to go to the hospital, if they say t isn't bad then it isn't bad but...it doesn't hurt to be careful." She smiled and frowed again seeing his bruise once more.

"Fine." Alex said, still breathing funny. Ashley came back with one of the paramedics.
