"Are you well, dear?" Jeff asked his daughter. "Of course father." Rose lied and looked around, rather destracted.

Lisa looked down. "Why did you do it?" She asked.
"I had to stay alive somehow. A deadbeat mom who locked me in a closet doesn't help, either. I hungry, and I was going to do what I had to." Ty said.

"Would you like to order ma'am" The waitress asked Rose. Rose looked up. "We'll share the t-bone steak." Ryan cut in. Rose looked down.

Ty looked over at Rose, slightly intriqued. "This dinner doesn't fix anything." He told his mom.

Rose didn't notice anyone, she didn't dare try to look around or she would be slapped later by Ryan for cheating.

Ty quietened as the waitress came over and took their order. His voice sounded strong, but mysterious.

Rose sneaked a look around their table when Ryan left to go to the bathroom. She saw Ty but she stopped herselff from thinking much about him.

Ty looked down. "Give me a good reason not to tell someone about your little problem." Ty said.
"I'm you're mom." Lisa said.
"You're the person who gave birth to me. Mom is something completely different. " ty said.

Their food came. Ryan started to eat "their" steak. Rose rolled her eyes and looked around.

Ty stood up. "I'm going to step outside a minute."

"Why don't you eat?" Ryan asked.
"Not hungry." Rose replied quickly and shot Ryan a look. Ryan grabbed her arm. "We need to talk" He hissed and pulled her up, dragging her towards the door, his breath smelt of whiskey, Rose knew he carried a small bottle in his pocket always.

Ty was outside thinking. He was confused as to whether or not he should accept his mother.

"Let me go.." Rose begged once they were outside. Ryan pushed her against the wall. "If your not hunry then what's the point of being in there?" He slide a hand up her thigh. "Stop!" Rose begged again. "Shut up!" He demanded and began to drag her to the side of the restaurant.

Ty saw him and grew angry. He grabbed Ryan and pulled him off of her. "You heard her let go."

"Why don't you mind you own fucking business?!" Ryan said, his eyes dazed from the alcohol. Rose stood back, a little shocked that someone had..saved her.

"You hurting a girl is my businesS." Ty defended, pushing him back and stepping between him and Rose.

"She wants it! She deserves it!" Ryan snapped and threw a fist aiming at Ty's chest.

Ty blocked it quickly. "Nobody deserves to be beaten or whatever else you were going to do to her." He said.

Ryan stepped back, a little taken back by this guy. Rose stepped between them. "Both of you stop.." she looked at Ryan. "Go home." She demanded, for once. He shot a look at Ty then turned to leave.

Ty stepped back, calming down

Rose looked at Ty. "Thanks..for..saving me." She said and swallowed, he really had saved her.

"No problem." He said and kissed her hand softly. "Ty." He introduced [center]

Rose could feel herself blushing. "Rose" she said softly.

"Are you OK?" He asked.

Rose frowned a little "Luckily..this time" she mumbled the last two words. She knew her father was waiting but she didn't give a crap at this point.
