Eli kissed her forehead. "I love you."

"Ok." She breathed.

Eli smiled slightly and looked at her.

Clare laid back and looked at him.

He laid next to her. "Its been a crazy week." He said and looked over at her.

She nodded. "It has."

He put and arm around her and pulled her closer. "You should get some rest tonight." He whispered.

She nodded. "Can you please just."

"Just what?" He asked, not understanding fully.

"Not touch me right now." She breathed.

"Sorry." He said and moved away from her, slightly confused.

She slowly stood up and walked downstairs. She lay down on a the couch and closed her eyes.

He looked at the ceiling.

She began to softly cry.

Elis mind began to wander. Clare was sensitive, he knew that. He normally would get annoyed with people like Clare. But, he loved her, she was different.

She wiped away her tears quickly, and curled up. She slowly fell asleep.

Eli didn't sleep.

She slept late the next morning.

El sat up in bed. His head ached from the lack of sleep. He had been deep in thought.

Clare woke up, cold. She stood up and slowly walked upstairs.

He heard her walking upstairs. He faught the urge to stand and carry her.

She walked into the bedroom and looked at him. "I'm sorry."

He looked at her for a moment, examining her. "I understand." He said truthfully.

"That doesn't make it any more right. I've been a major bitch lately and I really am sorry, Eli." She whispered.

"Clare, you don't need to apoloogize." He said softly, standing up.
