Clare walked downstairs slowly, and stood at the last step.

Cassie didn't notice her at first. "Oh Eli!" She said and hugged him. He merely nodded in greeting. Cassie walked in, still looking at Eli.

Clare looked down and grabbed her phone out of her pocket. She checked the time impatient.

Cassie glanced at Clare, realizing she was there too. She frowned. "I'm glad you could come." Eli said breacking the rather unconfortable silence. Cassie glared at him, "I'm glad you asked me." She said all too sweetly.

Clare heard the door knock again and smiled. She ran and opened it quick, revealing Jake.

Cassie's eyes widened. She wondered who that person might be. Eli smiled at Jake. "Well its about time." He said good-naturedly.

Jake nodded and was surprised by Clare hugging him. "Hello." He said.
"Hi." She said separating from him.

"Should we get going?" He asked glancing at the small group.

"Can I drive?" Clare asked.
"Don't let her!" Jake said instinctively.
"Pleaseeee! Don't listen to him." Clare Sid.

Eli laughed. "You can drive...safely I hope." He added. Cassie stood silently, feeling left out for once.

"No! We're all gonna die!" Jake jokes.
"Oh hush! I'm a good driver!" She said.
"That mailbox didn't agree." Jake defended.
"It was your fault! I was 15!" She argued

"Do you two need muzzules and choke colars?" Eli broke in jokingly. "YES" Cassie commented starchly. Eli glanced at her questioningly.

Clare's smile faded.
Jake looked at them. "So are we going or not?"

Eli nodded and walked out with them. He still wondered what had gotten into Cassies head.

Clare dug the keys out of Eli's pocket and walked out to the car. She got in and let everyone find their place she smiled and started the car.
"So how is everyone?" She asked breaking the silence.

"Great." Eli said first, and smiled, glancing at Cassie who forceda smile and said "Fine..just fine."

Clare smiled and starting driving to the dot.

Eli smiled and looked at Cassie "Excited?"
"I guess." She said and smiled slightly. Eli nodded.

Clare got there quicky and parked, shocked by the amount of people.

"Yikes." Eli commented and chuckled.

Clare nodded. "Yeah."
Jake smirked. "You know, I didn't know this many people lived here."

"Wow" Cassie remarked quietly and Eli opened his door and got out.

Clare took Elis hand. Jake looked at Cassie.

Eli kissed her hand.
Cassie breathed and stood insecurly glancing around.

"Get a room." Jake joked.
"We have one." Clare smirked .
