Eli nodded. "I'll drive." He looked at Jake and Cassie.

Jake nodded. "Sounds good to me." He smiled at Clare.

He started up the car.

Clare and Jake got in, sitting beside each other

Cassie sat in the passenger seat. "How was the ending?" Eli asked casually.

Clare looked at her, slightly intreseted.

"It was quite boring really. But the girl died.. then he commited suicide. (A twist on Shakspear? Haha)" Cassie said looking out the window.

Jake laughed. "Something Clare would do." He joked.

Eli didn't say anything, not sure to laugh or take offense.

"Shut up!" She said, smacking his arm.
"Oh, like the whole dramatic scene you made when I left." He shot, watching her.

Eli remained silent, listening. Cassie smiled.

"I did not make a scene!" She said.

"I would have.." Cassie started. "Of course, only if I really did love him." She added and smirked. Eli looked at her.

Clare glanced at her "For your information, we were."

"Still are maybe?" She shot, smiling innocently. Eli looked at Cassie slightly angry.

"That was a long time ago, I don't hold on to things of the past." She said calmly.

"Well that's good." She said as Eli pullled into his driveway. "Home, at last." He said finally.

Clare jumped out. Jake followed.

Eli and Cassie got out.

Clare skipped in and jumped on the couch.

Eli smiled and walked nin.

She patted the seat beside her.

He smirked and sat beside her, kissing her cheek.

"I love you." She whispered, not noticing Jake and Cassie.

"I love you more." He replied and smiled. Cassie rolled her eyes.
