"My mother died when I was 6 months." She said quietly.

"I'm sorry..." Ty breahted.

"It doesn't matter." She said quickly and looked at him.

Ty nodded and looked away.

Rose ate some of the sadwich then looked at Ty. "Do you have any relatives in town?"

"My mom, but even I don't count that.": He said and smirked.

"Oooh" Rose said and smiled. "You guys aren't close?"

"The exact opposite of close." He said

Rose nodded. "Oh, I see." She finished her coffee.

Ty looked at her and smiled. "You excited?"

"Yeah. But I'm afraid I'll just end up hiding in my house all day." She said half serious.

"Why?" Ty asked

"Because I don't know what to do... its like throwing a baby in the water, they can't swim." She said looking at him.

Ty nodded and frowend. "Anything I can do?"

"You've already done so much for me, I don't want to bore you!" She said with a smile.

"Nah." Ty said

Rose smiled. "Lies." She got up. "You ready to go?"

Ty nodded and stood up

Rose looked at a clock on the wall. "We still got an hour.." she looked at him.

"Shopping? "" he asked.

"Sounds fun!" Rose said and took his arm.

Ty smiled at how close they were. "Where?"

"Let's just walk around in the mall a few blocks over, I'm sure we'll find something interesting." Rose said and walked to the car with him.

"Yep!"he said getting in.

Rose glanced at him as they drove. She smiled at him.
