Eli smiled at Clare. "You guys knew each other as kids?"

Clare nodded. "He moved away right before my parents died." Clare said.

Jake smiled. "We grew up together."

"Ah." Eli nodded, interested.

"She was wild." Jake said and smirked.

"I was not! Clare defened, kicking him under the table.

"Lies, Clare!" Jake said, laughing.

Eli chucked. "Then it seems she hasn't changed."

"What have I done that was wild?" She asked, her mouth open from shock.

"Lets see... the driving a car into a wall, getting drunk that night at Declans party, kissing Declans neck when you KNEW he had a girlfriend that'd kill you..." Jake said and smiled.

"Not you! Eli doesn't need to know.... but thats fair." Clare said then she turned to Eli.

Eli smiled and laughed. "Well, little Clare does have a dangerous side!"

Clares cheeks burned red. "I've changed!" She said and smiled

"Mhm..." Eli said and smirked.

"Ya'll are so mean to me. I'm leaving!!" She said and stood up playfully.

Eli pulled her unto his lap and hugged her close. "Neverrrr!" He laughed.

"Eli!" She squealed.

Eli rolled his eyes sarcasticly and released her.

Clara kissed his cheek. "I'll be right back." She said and went over to the counter.
Jake cleared his throat. "How long have you two been together?"

(Ug I can't remember how long they've been together....ummm..)

Eli looked at him. "Not too long. Maybe about 5 months at the most." Eli said casually.

"Are you sleeping with her?" He asked, looking down.

"Yes." Eli said and touched the chain on his neck which held her purity ring.

Jake nodded. "I don't know you, but I do kno Clare. If you hurt her in any way..."

"I would never." Eli said and looked at him sharply. "Clare is everything to me." He wasn't sure why Jake was so pretective, but he figured it was just because of how long they were frinds.

"Good." He said and pursed his lips.

Eli squinted his eyes slightly, examining him.

Clare walked back over and sat down. "What did I miss?"

Eli smiled seeing here. "Nothing of much interest."

"Good." She said and took his hand. "You weren't talking about me were you?"

Eli glanced at Jake. "Well how could we not stop ourselves from talking about how radiant you look." He smirked.
