Clare smiled seeing Jake. Her wavy hair fell around her face cutely. "You beat me here." She breathed

Eli sat back and looked at a picture of him and Clare. He was pretending to bite her face as she laughed trying to push him away. He smiled. He didn't want all their good memories to go to waste.

He nodded. "Just a little bit."

Clare smiled and sat down on a log.

He sat quietly, thinking.

Jake sat beside her. "You seem troubled."

Eli bit his lip nervously.

"I'm fine." Clare assured and smiled warmly. Her eyes shown all the memories they once had.

He got up and walked outside, to take a walk.

"You know I never meant to hurt you." Jake whispered.
"I know," Clare nodded. "You had no choice."

He walked around the block.

Jake looked away and sighed.

Eli saw someone, someone he knew from a while back. He recognized her. It couldn't be..could it?

Eli walked up behind her slowly. He put his hand on her shoulder. "Cassie...?" he asked quietly. She spun around quickly, scared, not recognizing him. After a few silent moments. Her lips curled into a smiled as she burst out "Eli!!" she said throwing her arms around his neck.

"Wow." He finally said.
Clare nodded. "I guess."
Jake turned to her. "What are you gonna do?"

Eli laughed hugging her then releasing as she stepped back to look at him.
"Its been ages!" she said examining him.
Eli nodded, "I've been busy."
"Oh?" she replied curiously.

"I-i don't know." Clare breathed, holding back tears.

"Yes." He breathed and looked down slightly and frowned. Cassie looked at him, Hey, whatever it is it can't be that bad."
Eli looked up at her, "You think?"

"Clare, you can't..." Jake bit his lip.
"I'm going to. I just..." She looked down

Eli looked around them.
Cassie looked at him. "So you still living in the some old house."
Eli nodded.
Cassie smiled. "Cool...I might have to visit some time." she said flirtatiously.
Eli didn't noticed but nodded slightly. "Maybe."

"You're serious?" He said amused.
She nodded. "Dead serious."

"Do you ever...think of her?" Cassie asked crossing her arms as a cool breeze hit her.
"I try not to..I've moved on." Eli said putting his jacket around her, noticing she was cold. Cassie smiled.

"H-how long have you been here?" Eli asked curiously.
"Not too long.."

"Clare..." he sighed. "There's other options." He whispered
"Not for us." Clare assured. "Can we just drop it?%

Eli nodded, he tried to seem interested, but all he could think about was Clare. He wanted Clare.

Jake nodded. "I guess."
"Do you mind if I go home? I feel bad." She whispered, standing up.
